Carrigaline AC Club Race Series
The series comprises of 6 races across the summer months covering a range of distances that will suit both experienced & beginner runners alike.

Race Schedule
§ Race 1 – BHAA Depuy Synthes 4 Mile (Ringaskiddy) – 26th June
§ Race 2 – BHAA Sterling 5km (Novartis) – 3rd July
§ Race 3 - Tracton AC 4 Mile Road Race – 12th July
§ Race 4 – Kinsale Regatta 5 Mile – 2nd August
§ Race 5 – Youghal Half Marathon – 11th August
§ Race 6 - St Finbarr’s AC 10km Road Race – 18th August
Open to all club members to promote the club across the county. Great introduction to racing for new club members – shows off the hard work done at training each week! The winner will not be the fastest! This is a race series that rewards effort at every level.
Race Details
Scoring based on the following points system:
§ 1 point for each race that you compete in
§ 5 points if it’s your very first race
§ 5 points if you get a PB in any race at any level.
§ 4 points if you compete in 4 of the 6 races (Bonus)
§ 5 points if you compete in 5 of the 6 races (Bonus)
§ 6 points if you compete in 6 of the 6 races (Bonus)
§ - 5 points for not wearing club top (excludes both BHAA Races)
League Table will be posted on Club Strava after each race (no times). Final standings will be based on individual points gained based on the above criteria.
There will be one Male & one Female winner for the Race Series each receiving the Club Series Plaque engraved with their name and kept for the year plus a €100 John Buckley Sports Voucher.
